Go to System Settings
People who have installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 or 10.2 might be having difficulty might have faced difficulty in taking a screenshot.It was not that hard with stock or android that is available with factory installed Android OS   it's more or less the same in every android phone.On CyanogenMod 10.2 which is based-on Android 4.3, take screenshot is much easier by pressing and holding the Power button. You need to enable it.

But people who have newly installed CyanogenMod might find it difficult to navigate through all the menu as there are a lot of customization can be done.For the first time you install the screenshot taking capability is not enabled.
So you can do following steps
  • Go to the Settings ->
  • Next ->System
    Next -> system -> Power menu
    .

Click power menu and enable screen shot
  • Next -> Power menu
  • Now click the Screenshot or tick the screen shot if that is not enabled

So now after enabling all these thing you can hold the power button and you can see that it will show Power off ,Reboot ,Screenshot and Airplane mode.

Now just touch the screenshot and you can easily take the picture or screenshot you want to take.
